e-print x Pro-Act Celebrates The Lunar New Year with Elderly 2015

In order to extend e-print Card Design Competition, spiritual care of the elderly. On 12 March, e-print and 20 of students of Pro-Act visited Caritas Elderly Centre – Ngau Tau Kok to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

Lunar New Year is the most important traditional festival for Chinese people all over the world , every household will celebrate with family and friends by dancing, praying and eating delicious food. To make the elderly to feel the New Year atmosphere, e-print and students prepared some activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year with elderly. We not only sang some old songs, played some games together, but also prepared greeting cards and various of gifts for the elderly. The elderly were touched which kept to thanks us and some of them shared their stories with students.

It was a meaningful activity though only held few hours, but we already gave the elderly lots of joy and all the volunteers were satisfied today.
